LightCode 2023. Installations from Light Technologies became participants in the Festival in Karelia

Last week in the capital of Karelia the Festival of light installations LIGHT CODE took place, in which the team of the Lighting Technologies International Group of Companies took part. We share our impressions and results.
Our installations – “Northern Lights” and “Wing”, which are based on the beauty and uniqueness of northern Karelian nature, became a real decoration of the festival. The art objects turned out to be truly unusual and were able to attract the attention of tourists and city residents, showing that light art is a symbiosis of limitless flights of imagination and modern technologies and solutions.
A business program was also held as part of the festival. The round table brought together lighting engineers, designers, architects and many other representatives of the creative industry. They all discussed current topics of modern urbanism: how to activate urban spaces, what is a design code and what role does lighting play in the formation of a unified stylistic environment? Can installations become the calling card of a city?

Our answer to the last question is definitely YES! The head of the architectural and artistic lighting department, Konstantin Zakuskin, spoke about the role of the Lighting Technologies company in this process: “Light is not only art, but also a means of transforming thinking. And we proved this with our installations “Wing” and “Northern Lights”.
The lighting design was carried out by Vladlen Stanislavenko, lamps of our production were used (the main hero of the occasion was GLOSS LED, which provided the effect of the northern lights).
We also prepared and conducted an interesting master class for the guests of the Festival: we assembled aerial installations using EVOLINE FLEX. Thanks to our specialists: Elena Makunina, Evgeniy Burdaev and Denis Savelyev for the idea and implementation!”
