Proper lighting plays an important role in the work of medical staff and can also have a positive effect on the healing process of patients.

Lighting Technologies has significant experience in implementing lighting projects for medical facilities, and we are proud to present an important project in our portfolio.
In 2023, a lighting project was implemented in the new complex of the country's largest Infectious Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Moscow - internal premises and the surrounding area. In total, more than 50 modifications of lighting devices were developed, fully meeting the objectives of the project.

One of the most difficult areas of the hospital when implementing the lighting project were the balconies. Due to the specifics of an infectious diseases hospital, the entrance to the wards is not through corridors, but through open balconies. It was necessary to develop a completely new modification that meets the requirements:


  • The lamp is built into slatted ceilings and provides a surface with a degree of protection from dust and moisture IP65;

  • ideal light quality, completely uniform illumination of the diffuser and minimal frame size;

  • ease of installation on suspensions in very limited ceiling space.


During the project, we produced more than five samples; it was necessary to work out several versions of the mounting and design of the light module in order to achieve ideal compatibility on site and the required level of illumination.


As a result, the EVOLINE Clip-in luminaire was developed. Over 1,800 of these devices illuminate the New Complex of Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital No. 1.
