There are special requirements for lighting in pig houses. The customer tested luminaires from various manufacturers, but they quickly failed in the aggressive environment. Three years ago, ARCTIC OPL AGRO LED 1500 TH 5000 K lights were installed in the rearing shed as an experiment. At the end of that period, the commission concluded that the lights were effective in the pig house and the animals felt good.

The product management team developed a special version of the ARCTIC luminaires for agricultural producers, changing the materials of the luminaire diffuser and adding pressure leads that are resistant to aggressive substances. The plan is to install ARCTIC OPL AGRO LED 1500 TH 5000 K luminaires that have proven their effectiveness in all buildings of the agricultural farm, in particular in the fattening unit and pig farming facilities.
