Filanovsky oil and gas field is located in the northern part of the Caspian Sea. Lukoil has the license to develop the deposit. In 2016, one of the first facilities, an ice-resistant fixed platform (LSP-2), was put into operation. The LSP-2 drilling complex is to provide drilling of a cluster of 15 directional wells with horizontal completions, including 9 production and 6 injection wells.

At the first stage, the task was to get into the register of Lukoil manufacturers, which gives the right to participate in tenders held by the oil company. A number of conditions had to be met to achieve the goal. In particular, Lighting Technologies received certificates for its explosion-proof lamps and switching equipment from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
