Complex facility lighting had to comply with the stringent requirements of Russian Railways, given subsequent certification in accordance with BREEAM standards. The most suitable lighting devices were installed for each area, taking into account architectural features, functional purpose, required level of illumination, lighting and electrotechnical requirements. RIGEL LED luminaires were certified by research institute NIIAS and used for the first time. These lights provide uniform and sufficient illumination between trains for carrying out technical works. The equipment was selected with consideration of a potential integration of lighting devices into DALI protocol control systems. The lighting equipment and control systems were used in accordance with BREEAM and increased energy efficiency, environmental friendliness and overall flexibility of the building's lighting installation.
