A new oncology treatment center opened in Kostroma. The construction took exactly two years. Now, Kostroma doctors are able to treat the most severe patients.
The new center is equipped with the latest technology, including cutting-edge ultrasound devices. The doctors are also able to carry out sophisticated procedures, such as plasmapheresis, ECMO procedure and others.
The center has a surgical department for 20 beds. It includes four operating rooms, an intensive care unit, an emergency department, and modern laboratories. The new building is equipped with modern magnetic resonance and computed tomography scanners, allowing for much faster examination as compared to the machines of the previous generation.
