Trade rows were built in many Russian cities, but only in Kostroma, the old shopping complex survived this much to this day. Its construction took over a century. And today, the tourists can see about twenty restored buildings with daily trade, like two centuries ago. Traveling through the vast square and along the arcade of ancient buildings, one can easily imagine the distant past with bossy merchants and busy shops. The central part of the city, including the Fish Rows, is an integral architectural ensemble of the late 18th-19th centuries. The buildings are surrounded by open vaulted galleries. Behind each arch there was a separate shop with its own entrance and showcase.

The task was to preserve as much as possible of the original appearance of the building, although restored, by using a high-quality LED solution. In the process of changing the lighting on this historic building, the customer asked to use warm color temperatures to maintain coziness and harmony in the various galleries of this building.

Lighting Technologies used the most accent lights on the bus duct to illuminate the galleries. The company proposed and installed PLW plaster fixtures to illuminate the corridor stairwells. INFINITY INDIRECT project lighting fixtures were designed, assembled, and installed in the main lobby of the building. The project was designed and implemented in a record time of 2 weeks.
