Horoshkola is the most modern school in Russia today. It offers in-depth study of natural sciences and expanded sports facilities: 3 gyms, a well-equipped swimming pool with a balcony for spectators on the second floor level. The education system will comply with the principles of education adopted by the Harvard School (USA), which ranks second in the rating of the best schools in the world. During the construction of the school, every little detail was considered: open spaces, stained glass atriums, recreation areas with natural light, spacious forums for classes and communication for each of the levels of education, modified into separate zones. Horoshkola project was developed by KROST, under the personal patronage of German Gref.

task
The task was to provide complex modern lighting of all areas of the school, taking into account, first of all, the comfort of the light environment using the color temperature zoning principles. Illumination of functional premises (classrooms) was provided by a system of reflected light. Each zone of the school differs by lighting solution type and has its own individual lighting environment and architecture. Also, given the openness of spaces, both indoor and outdoor, it was necessary to combine all the elements without violating a single unique design style.

The recreation area was lit using a special solution PROFILE 60. Individual solution for illuminating canteen was based on SOL P. The staircase space was illuminated by a single continuous line of LINER/S TH LEDs. The pool area was lit by a MALL ECO LED, creating a visual impression of "light from nowhere
