Congress hall is one of the landmarks of Ufa. The most important social, political, business, scientific and cultural events are held in Congress hall. It is a spacious high-tech building in the form of a drop with Bashkir ornaments. It includes a concert hall for 774 people, two conference halls (a small one for 94 people and an oval one for 22 people), a museum and exhibition complex, a national cuisine restaurant (for 120 people), a winter garden, a shopping center (for 1,000 visitors), an underground parking lot for 230 cars. In July 2015, the BRICS and SCO summits were held in the Congress Hall and were attended by the heads of the member states of these organizations.

task

Given the complex reconstruction of the building in the run-up to the summits, the task was to design and replace the lighting in accordance with the design concept. The work was carried out jointly with the architectural studio and with the direct participation of the office of chief architect of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The lamps had to be fitted on the ceiling in the conference room and a number of other rooms with hexagon ornament. So, the main challenge was to choose lamps that would correspond in size to the side of the figure.
