The field is located in shallow waters in the northern part of the Caspian Sea, 190 km from Astrakhan, at a depth of 7-11 m. The equipment is operated in moderately cold sea climate. The service life of the platform is estimated at 35 years. Commercial production at the field began on 31 October 2016 with commissioning of the first stage. The infrastructure of the first stage includes the riser block (RB), ice-resistant stationary platform (LSP), central processing platform (CTP), living module platform (LMP) and head onshore facilities. The field is geologically unique: high permeability of reservoirs allows achieving record initial flow rates.

The task was to select explosion-proof boxes and cable glands for power cables connection. The equipment must be certified by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, comply with the climatic design (work at temperatures from -25C to +40C). Boxes must be vibration resistant.A certificate for compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2004.
