The project for the reconstruction of lighting of the state cultural institution of the Republic of Tatarstan. Brief description of the project: the history of the Kazan circus dates back to more than 100 years ago. The first stationary circus was built in 1890 by the Nikitin brothers, the founders of the national Russian circus. In 2017, the circus was closed for a large-scale overhaul. It reopened in March 2018. Architectural and archaeological measurements of the building made in June-July 2017 allowed to create a 3D model of the circus. All facility functions and engineering systems were digitally reproduced. The project was developed using BIM technologies.

The task was to propose solutions to match the design project and provide data on lighting fixtures to create BIM models. Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt developed the design documentation for the repair and restoration work. The design studio of Elena Zubko (Valeeva) developed an interior design concept.

Lighting Technologies developed and delivered modified fixtures in non-standard colors, as well as new models. As such, CYCLE P LED series fixtures were developed in different colors in the form of a pendant ring. Round architectural forms of the Circus building are supported in design by suspended luminaires SOL P LED, build-in SOON, SNS LED, SAFARI DL LED, surface-mounted luminaires of STAR NBT LED and COLIBRI DL LED series with an accessory for surface mounting. Accent lighting was made with BELL/S LED. Halls and dressing rooms were decorated with linear luminaires of MALL LINE LED series. High facilities of the training arena were illuminated by INSEL LB/S LED luminaires. MIZAR LED provide emergency lighting to emergency exit signs. External emergency units CONVERSION KIT POWER LED 8-40W IP20 were used for emergency lighting. The technical facilities were equipped with ACORN LED and LZ.OPL ECO LED. The administrative facilities were illuminated with OPL/R ECO LED and OPTIMA.OPL ECO LED luminaires. The project was implemented in full accordance with the design concept within the time frame specified by the customer.
