Opened in October 2012, Al Amerat Stadium, formerly known as the Oman Cricket Academy, is an international standard venue in the capital city. The stadium is owned by the Oman Cricket Board. Al Amerat Cricket Stadium hosted its first international match between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in 2019. The total capacity is up to 4,000 spectators. Last year, new floodlights were installed at the stadium to replace the outdated ones that had been in operation since 2015. The lighting replacement project was implemented by LT INDIA. Manufactured at our Indian factory, CHAMPION lights create the right lighting for the arena, where players demonstrate their skills and rivalry, and fans enjoy visual comfort.
