Race is traditionally a daytime sport because it requires good visibility and concentration. The modern rhythm of life, where people spend most of their daylight hours at work, has contributed to the fact that the popularity of the sport in India has significantly decreased. The challenge was to create a lighting system that would allow racing in the evening as well, in order to increase interest in the sport.

a:2:{s:4:"TEXT";s:680:"At the Mahalaxmi Race Course, lighting fixtures were installed to illuminate the main 2.4 km long track, as well as the area adjacent to it.In addition to purpose-built structures for lighting fixtures, LT India successfully utilized existing architecture to minimize the impact on visibility of the track. The project also included the installation of a lighting system for the paddock and the area connecting the paddock and the track.Our Indian colleagues carried out the design, and also took an active part in the installation and adjustment of the lighting system of the facility.Equipment used: Adornis
