Founded in 1995, Perekrestok supermarket chain is the largest Russian supermarket chain operated by X5 Group. In 2020, the company announced the launch of a new Perekrestok concept as part of a large-scale upgrade. A new lighting concept "Light on the product" was also launched as part of the upgrade.

Lighting design, supply and supervised installation of lighting equipment (as well as adjustment of the devices, post-project audit and reporting to the client) for Perekrestok supermarkets that opened in a renewed format. One of the main tasks was to highlight the benefits of goods using the right light, to divide the supermarket into light zones and to provide comfortable light for visitors and employees.

Light zoning of the store was achieved by creating different levels of light, using different types of fixtures (general lighting - DOMINO LED PANEL, accent lighting - ARMA/T LED), color temperature devices (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, special "meat spectrum"), optical systems (double asymmetric, single asymmetric, diffuse D90 optics) and color rendering indexes (sales area - CRI80, fruit and vegetable zone - CRI90).For the emergency lighting system, a special modification of the DOMINO series luminaire was developed, which visually repeats the standard device and does not stand out in the sales area.
