METRO hypermarket is located in Likino village, Odintsovo district, 35th km of the Minsk highway. The area is 9,300 sqm. It is the tenth METRO store in the Moscow region. At construction, it installed environmentally friendly refrigeration equipment, that significantly reduces emissions of greenhouse gas into the atmosphere, as well as lowers operating costs.

task
The task was to use modern energy-efficient equipment at the METRO hypermarket facility that meets the concept of a hypermarket and allows creating a general uniform illumination of the non-food zone.
solution
Lighting Technologies made lighting calculations, supplied all the equipment and provided installation supervision services at the facility. The eco-friendly concept of the hypermarket was reinforced by the use of energy-efficient DOMINO LED luminaires manufactured by Lighting Technologies, based on the latest developments in the field of LED lighting. The use of the DOMINO LED trunk system with corner connectors allowed to achieve an impeccable appearance of the lighting system, as well as a high quality of light for uniform illumination of the racks and no glare for the retail space staff and customers. Further operation of the devices will ensure low energy consumption, as well as easy use by significantly reducing the time and cost of subsequent maintenance. The result fully meets with the requirements of METRO.
